Indore Center Description
Infrastructure
Our center is equipped with numerous workstations,
high-end software, servers, peripheral devices,
communications network, and over 22,000 square
feet workspace .We have an infrastructure that
can be relied upon to meet the demands of some
of the most challenging assignments. With more
than 125 Suvians, we have 60% of our professionals
with + 10 years of experience, 20% with + 5 years
and the rest between 1-4 years.
We follow various service delivery models as
outlined below:
Offsite
This delivery model is suitable for clients having
an IT department that is sufficiently equipped
for designing and outlining system specifications.
These specifications are handed down to us for
coding and testing. After comprehensive testing,
the system is delivered to the client for implementation.
Onsite
For clients desirous of getting projects of longer
duration completed in a faster time frame, we
suggest the onsite delivery model, wherein we
assign the right professionals to carry out the
projects onsite.
Offshore Development Center
Under this model Suvi provides dedicated space,
hardware, software, communication resources, technical
staff and project managers with requisite skills
and experience to ensure timely project completion.
A team of dedicated and trained system analysts
and programmers is placed in India, which coordinates
with another team at client's end on daily basis.
We suggest a combination of onsite and offshore
project execution model to meet the client's expectations
and offer best value for money. All the above
service delivery models can be worked on Time
& Material or Fixed Price contracts.
The varied technological and functional demands
of clients are met in an efficient, cost-effective
manner. The development process involves the use
of a structured as well as an object oriented
approach. We have adopted Rapid Application Development
(RAD) as the primary software development process.
The software development process consists of
the following steps:
- Initial Project Scope Estimate-
Following initial meetings with the customer,
Suvi provides a rough estimate of the project
type, scope, probable cost, etc
- Development of Specification-
On award of the contract, Suvi sends high-level
analysts to the customer's site to gather requirements,
define business processes and develop detailed
specifications. In case of overseas clients,
this activity is carried out by Diaspark Inc.
USA, a company affiliated with SUVI
- System Development- The
system is built employing iterative prototyping.
The development process remains under version
and change management controls, using tools
like MS Visual Source Safe
- Testing- Prior to delivery
to the customer, the system is fully tested
for both function and load. Suvi develops additional
testing procedures together with the customer
to further test the developed software
- Implementation- After thorough
testing the software is implemented at the client
site. In case of overseas clients, this activity
is carried out by Diaspark Inc. Diaspark Consultants
keep in touch with Suvi's development team for
any bug fixing during implementation. Suvi even
uses remote access tools like PC Anywhere to
fix bugs, if any
- Deployment / Maintenance-
After the system is fully deployed, we maintain
the software under a separate contract with
the customer.
