Neha Thakur, QA lead at Diaspark Inc, scored a double triumph by getting her two papers published at this year’s QAI's Annual International Software Testing Conference. The themes of the papers are “Performance Testing in Cloud: A pragmatic approach” and “Testing Heuristics & Cognitive Approach to Testing”. Neha is a well known speaker in International circuit of software testing, her previous achievement includes speaking at Software Testing Conference (STC) 08 and 09 as well, she has also presented a whitepaper in Colorado, United States at CAST (Conference of the Association for Software Testing) 09. Her expertise and passion include talking about agile, automation testing and creative problem solving techniques in software testing domain.
QAI's Annual International Software Testing Conference has been a highly popular offering that brings together practitioners and thought leaders from the Software Industry, Academia and Government for sharing and exchange of experiences, ideas and learning. At the conference practitioners, organizations shared and learned the current best practices, and the future possibilities on how to manage not only Agility and Achievement, but focus on adapting and taming the new challenges of change.
In “Testing Heuristics & Cognitive Approach to Testing “paper she showcased the cognitive approach and different heuristic analysis towards software testing by practical demonstration. She focused on the reasons why is there a growing need to use this approach, various advantages of using cognitive thinking and heuristic based testing. In other paper named “Performance Testing in Cloud: A pragmatic approach” she talked about the rational approaches to choose right vendor for your company, various tools to do the performance testing, their advantages, disadvantages and frameworks available as well niche market study of performance testing in cloud.
